Abstract:In this paper,Chinese copper resources,copper occurance andcopper consumption are briefly introduced.It is indicated that the utiliza-tion of secondary copper resources is one of the measures for solving the contradiction between supply and demand,The examples are enumerated for introducing well-developed technology of utilization and recovery of secon- dary copper resources in the world. According to the concrete condition in china,the feasibility and reasonableness of treating waste rock containing copper and low- grade copper oxide ores with L- SX-EW technology.
