| Established in 1956, Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (BGR1MM) now ranks among the top national R&D institutions in the fields of mining, mineral processing and metallurgy of heavy nonferrous metals. Staffed with about 1600 people including more than 800 professionals and well equipped with sophisticated instruments and complete facilities. BGRIMM has been carrying out many key R&D projects covering various aspects such as mining technologies, machinery and explosives, blasting materials, engineering blasting, mining systems engineering, mineral processing of ores from various deposits, flotation reagents, processing equipment, automation and computer application, pyro-and hydro-metallurgical techniques, equipment and energy conservation, magnetic materials, metallic engineering materials and composite powders, sesbania gum, fine chemicals, environment protection, technological mineralogy, physical testing, instrumental and chemical analysis and so on. In her nearly 40 years history, BGRIMM has won some 350 prizes of her thousand achievements at national or ministerial level, over 65% having been applied in commercial productions. BGRIMM is also offering package services integrating contract R&D, engineering design and turn-key plant construction. In addition, BGRIMM can provide new products based on her own R&D results from her several production lines. In one word, BGRIMM now is very active in R&D field and technological market within and outside China. |
