| Abstract: |
| A new explosiveless mining technology by rock splitter is a first one developed in the world. The hydraulic rock splitter is used for excavating ores with a new mining technology. The new mining method can reduce losses and dilution of excavated ores to extreme extent (<1~3%), while saving explosive materials. It has good safety and dependability, showing high economic results.
This new explosiveless mining technology has opened up a new and original route for mining precious minerals of gold, tungsten and so on from thin and extremely thin ore veins.
This paper describes the structure and working principle of a hydraulic rock splitter, and the research and test of this new explosiveless mining technology by splitter. |
