Abstract:
      The essence of Multirow Same-segment Blasting Technology in Shizishan Copper Mine is a combination of short millisecond and random simultaneous blasting acts. Its main benefit is the simplification of blasting and corresponding mining operation.The blast mechanism of short millisecond is similar to that of the segment millisecond blast, but its interaction of stress wave and explosion gases is more complete, the crack formation and its interface branching is more obvious. For random simultaneous blasting action, owing to the explosion energy releasing to rock simultaneously and interaction of stress wave, high stress area will be formed on the link line between the holes,so the macro-crack is easily formed along this line. But on the other directions of holes, the effect of this explosion energy releasing simultaneously is not evident.
