| Abstract: |
| The difference of magnetic properties and its cause along parallel and perpendicular direction to that of the compact-pressing of nominally isotropic barium ferrites are investigated. The preferential orientation of crystal during mon-odirectional compact-pressing is the main cause of the difference in magnetic properties. A new route to improve the magnetic properties of nominally isotropic barium ferrite is described in this paper and now being used in manufacture. |
