| Since 1980's the Analytic Hierarchy Process has been introduced to China, but it hasn't applied to mining practice to a wide extent. It has been applied to Qiaohou Salt Mine, Dali prefecture in Yunnan Province by the authors, getting rid of the blindness on selecting water-soluble drill hole location. For this purpose quantitative evaluation now can replace empirical qualitative judgement. Practice has shown that it is an active guide to the rational exploitation and removal of hidden dangers in stability at Qiaohou Salt Mine. |
