| This paper describes main technical characteristics of underhand drift hydraulic sand filling method and its successful application at North Part of Wushan Copper Mine. The practice has demonstrated that this is an efficient safe and economic mining method. The technics applied are advanced new and original and they are basically ripe and perfected, Its mainadvantages are high productive capacity, low ore loss and dilution, safety and reliability. The successful application provides a new method for those mines with weak and easy self-combustion ore bodies. At present, this mining method has broadly been applied at Wushan Copper Mine and achieved prominent economic benefits. |
