| This paper describes a new technology for production of rongalite based on sodium pyrosulfite reduced by zinc powder and reacted with formaldehyde. A plant of 300t/a capacity using this technology has been built in Lin Dong Inner Mongolia. This process, the first of its kind worldwide has some advantages such as advanced technology, simple process, less investment in equipment, easy operation and high economic results. |
