| Abstract: |
| In this paper,studies on processing and extraction of metal values in ocean floor manganese nodules is reviewed.The selection principle of processing technology is briefly analyzed.In the extraction aspect of nodules,three proposed extraction schemes,namely smelting-leaching,reductive roasting-ammoniacal leaching and high pressure sulfuric acid leaching processes is discussed.Finally,an economic analysis for establishment of first-generation nodules smelter in China has been made. |
