| Abstract: |
| Boundary element method(BEM) is used to numerical sinlulation of stress field of a V-shapedi crack borehole. It is proved that preformed V-shaped cracks in the borchole wall can control initiating location of radial cracks,thus resulting directional fracturing during blasting. The opti-mum angle of V-shaped cracks is obtained.The fracture control effect is verified by three-dimensional modelling tests. |
