| Pig iron containing boron and boron-rich slag are made from ludwigite ore in blast furnace based on physical and chemical principle of metallurgy,Pig iron containing boron can be used to produce boron cast iron and boron cast steel; and boron-rich slag after mild cold treatment is the high quality raw material for producing borax and boric acid.The advan tages of this process are as follows:simplified process,less investn1ent,higher production,lower energy consumption as well as more remarkable economic and social benefits. |
