| The panel mining process of Dayao Copper Mine, Yunnan was monitored and analysed with acoustic emission(AE)and acoustic wave (AW)methods.The point pillars for supporting the roof were monitored with the acoustic wave meter.The acoustic emission monitoring of the roof and floor pillars surrounding the stopes was done with YSS acoustic emis-sion meter.The analysis results showed that,along with further stoping,the volunle of mined-out area,the total events and energy rate of ground sound were increased.Thc velocity of acoustic wave of the point pillars detected was decreased.It concluded that these two methods are effective and coin-cident for the monitoring of stope stability. |
