| According to the regulations of "Memorandum of Understandingbetween the Government of Australia and China Relating to the China MineWaste Management Project under the Program of TechnicaI Cooperation forDevelopment between the Government of Australia and China" and "DesignDocument of China-Australia Mine Waste Management Project",a high-leveldelegation of China-Australia mine wastes management,alI together tenpeople,composed of CNNC,the State Environment Protection Bureau,theState Planning Commission,the Ministry of Foreign Trade and EconomicCooperation,the State Land Management Bureau.BGRIMM.ZhongtiaoshanNonferrous Metals Company,and Tongling Nonferrous Metals Corporationmade a visit to Australia,In this paper, the main task and activities ofthis investigation to Australia are introduced; the features of mine resto-ration in Australia discussed.Combined with the actual conditions in China,the detailed suggestions on mine restoration work in China and research onthe project of China-Australia mine wastes management are put forward. |
