| ?00mm permanent drum-type magnetic separator has two functions.One is separation,the other is classification.Three kinds of produ-cts:coarse concentrates, middlings and tailings can be produced from this separator according to the difference of magnetic property of magnetite.Pilot tests have been done on discharge from primary ball mill and sand of prima-ry spiral classifier at Dashihe Concentrator of Shoudu Iron and Steel Compa-ny.The experimental results showed that, through combination applicationof magnetic separator and classifiers in primary closed-circuit grinding, bet-ter recovery of coarse concentrate and discarding of tailings along with mine-ral liberation can be obtained. Steady improvement and production applicationof this technology will give higher production,lower energy consumption andbetter improvement on metallurgical performances of concentrator. |
