| Abstract: |
| The study on the preparation of rare earth nitrate and rare earth chloride for agriculture from Baotou rare earth concentrate with the process of pure alkaline roasting-acid leaching is described in this paper. The optimum technological parameters have been determined in the study on the effect of main factors on roasting and acid leaching. The feability of pure alkaline roasting-acid leaching process was demonstrated in the industrial experiments.The total recovery of rare earth is up to over 90%. The advantages of that process are simplified process flowsheet, higher rare earth recovery, less consumption, lower production cost and remarkable economic benefit and valuable application. |
