| Abstract: |
| On the basis of analysing the supporting mechanism of hydraulic support and yieldable metal support extensively used in mines,considering the character of work within stope,a set of elastic shields within stope for mines developed is introduced in this paper.The shield makes full use of the cushion effect of spring,which greatly degrades the damage influence of shock by loose rock to the shield,therefore it ensures seeurity for stope operation.The shield has simple structure and can be easily made.Undoubtedly,it provides a new effective approach for spreading the use of trackless facilities in stope mining. |
