| Abstract: |
| In acid medium, ocean manganese nodules can be easily reduced and leached with aniline or phenol. In the oxidation-reduction reaction, aniline or phenol is oxidized to P-benzoquinone. The mechanism was verified by TLC, UV_VIS and IR. Experiments indicated that the oxidative ability of ocean manganese nodules is stronger than pure MnO 2 and the reductibility of aniline is stronger than phenol. |
