| Abstract: |
| With the development of non metallic minerals industry,a new type of dry permanent high gradient magnetic separator has been developed for removing iron contaminants from ultrafine powder.It adopts with cladding multipole rare earth permanent magnets system,in which the working space can be adjusted to alter the field strength for the requirement of different applications.An axial vibrating arrangement is used to gain a selective capture of particles and prevent matrix from blocking.The separator is ready to besealed,which is beneficial to feeding by air flow,thus eliminating the air pollution due to powder dust.Industrial test shows that Fe 2O 3 contentin Lianzhou orthoclase powder can be reduced from 0.27 % to 0.18% after the treatment of dry HGMS,meeting the demand of industrial production. |
