| Abstract: |
| The fairly high investment of connecting Local Area Network (LAN) to Internet causes some finical problems for most small or intermediate users of the LAN. To reduce the cost,a novel E mail system has been developed by the Beijing General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals.The system based on Windows NT remote accessing technology and utilizing the existing resources of the LAN,can not only meet the major requirements of connecting LAN to Internet but can also make it convenient to send and/or to receive E mail. |
