| Abstract: |
| Al 2O 3 short fiber reinforced aluminum alloy composites are manufactured by using squeeze casting, and the wear resistance of the composite is studied The results indicate that the fiber well combines with aluminum alloy matrix in the composites and has reinforcing effect on aluminum alloy; and that the interface of the composites can hold back crack propagation, and the composites possess excellent wear resistance The alloy elements in the matrix are favorable to forming good interface to improve wear resistance of the composites |
