| Alumina/zinc alloy composites are fabricated with liquid infiltration technology The results show that it is feasible to fabricate metal matrix composite at low infiltrating pressure;during infiltration,the temoperature of liquid metal has greater effect on the infiltrating pressure The composites fabricated have uniform solidifying structures,and the interactions between fibers and active elements in the matrix are favorable for nucleation and growth of eutectic structures of zinc alloy |
