| Abstract: |
| As to the characteristics of the ore body of Yindongpe-Gaobaoshan Gold Mine: complex in its vein, weak in stability of surrounding rock, and lower grade but high value in its gold ore, we invent, through careful investigation and experiment, a specific method,which is presented in this paper, called fixed funnel shrinkage mining method. It combines the advantages of both shrinkage and filling methods, and possesses the simplicity of itstechniques, convenience for its use and safety on its site operation. So it is suitable to be used in excavating the thin sharp slope vein surrounded with unstable rock. Especially when excavating the high grade mine, individual excavating can be used. This way can highly improve the productivity. Better economical and social benefit have been brought due to adopting the method. |
