| Abstract: |
| A hydrometallurgical process for treating Cu-Ni high grade matte withslurry electrolysis is introduced. This process provides a new technology with whichleaching and electrowinning can take place simultaneously, Cu is extracted byelectrowinning with sponge copper powder in the cathode, Ni is dissolved as nickelsulfate solution to be recovered after solution purification, and then precious metals canbe retained in the regidue. The valuable metals have been efficiently separated and extracted. The process has a good effect of Cu-Ni separation. This technology has the advantages of simplified flowsheet to extract metals, high metal recovery and lower cost. |
