| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the basic principle of stereographic projection was intro-duced firstly. Then, we emphasized on the application of stereographic projection in pre-dicting the rockfalling scale of stope roof in underground mines. Finally, this way was ver-ified by engineering examples. The practice showed that this way was valid for predictingthe rockfalling scale of stope roof in undrground mines. Pridicted result was basically inline with the reality. |
