| Abstract: |
| Shouwangfen copper mine has been in,mining for 40 years since it began production in 1957. During the 40 years' mining activity, there are over 100 mined -out areas in the mine. The South No. 6 is the biggest among them(1.4 million m~3). There is an ore reserve of about 5.5 million tons beneath it. The mining of the reserve is very important for the mine since mineral resources in the mine are very limited. Since the complicated environment around the orebody, it becomes very important to make the correct choice of mining method and the mining sequence for the high recovery and the mining safety. The study around this is described in this paper. |
