| Abstract: |
| Combining the solution preparation in ground station with the explosive loading using mixing -loading truck is considered to be the safest emulsion explosive production technology. However, the prerequisites of safe production are to understand the requirements of the technology correctly and to run the facility according to these requirements. During the preparation of emulsion explosive, many times of spontaneous combustion of ammonium nitrate solution occurred in the ground preparation station. These accidents endangered the production and brought many risks. Through the analysis on these accidents, the causes of the spontaneous combustion of ammonium nitrate solution had been found. Technological methods to solve this problem are proposed in this paper. |
