| Abstract: |
| In order to decrease molybdenum lost in the tailings of Mo - Cu separation operation and to improve the recovery of molybdenum in cleaning, repeated batch tests had been done to determine the place of regrinding in the operation. Finally, a new flowsheet with Mo-Cu blended concentrate regrinding, then Mo-Cu separation followed by recleaning was put forward to substitute the original flowsheet which had been used for 16 years, that is Mo - Cu blended concentrate separation, then regrinding followed by recleaning. The commercial tests proved that the recommended flowsheet is of success with increased Mo recovery by 3.97% in the condition of gaining qualified concentrate. |
