| Gear transmission, one of main mechanical transmissions, is extensively used in mechanical industry. Correct material and heat treatment of gears can increase the reliability of gear transmission and last the life of gears. In this paper, the common materials of gears and their properties and the methods for heat treatment of gears and their feasures are expounded. |
