| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the common problem faced by large deep open pits is put forward through analyzing the development of mining industry in China. In the light of the actual situation of Shuichang Iron Mine in Capital Iron and Steel Incorporation, the technical and economical advantages of using semi continuous belt conveying and single access road are discussed. It is pointed out that spreading this technology to those mines with similar conditions is the only way to increase the economical benefit of them. Obviously, it can promote the development and progress of mining technology. |
