| Abstract: |
| This paper reports a new method of preparing nanometer WS 2 lubricating crystal using equipment of mechanical physical solid state reaction. The phase analysis of nanometer WS 2 lubricating crystal is made with XRD and the diffraction patterns of WS 2 single phase are observed. In experiment of TEM, nanometer WS 2 crystal is directly measured and the electron diffraction experiment is also performed. The diffraction patterns show that the structure of nanometer WS 2 crystal is a mixed cluster of mono crystalline and polycrystalline. The crystal structure is a laminar hexagonal with one tungsten atom linking two sulfur atoms. Nanometer WS 2 crystal is a solid lubricating material with high applied value, wide use and excellent performance. |
