| Mechanics properties of a rock under stress can be gained by means of traditional tests of rock mechanics In effect,the rock is often in a state of stress relief Experiments have shown that mechanics properties of a rock under stress are different from that of the rock in a state of stress relief The process of measuring in situ stress by overcoring can be defined as a process of stress relief This paper is on the subject of the difference between stress relief process and loading process,the influence of overcoring process on mechanics parameters of a rock,how to determine the parameters for stress measurement and the calculation of stress measurement result |
