| Abstract: |
| The laboratory shaking leaching and column leaching tests on the ore from Shouwangfen Copper Mine were carried out. The testing results show that the copper leaching rate with chemical method is 26% lower than that by bacterial leaching method. The former rate is 46% and the latter is 72%. The copper leaching rate is inverse proporiton to the grain size of the ore. In other words, the larger the grain size of the ore is, the smaller the copper leaching rate. In production, the process of acid leaching followed by bacterial leaching was used so as to both accelerate the copper leaching and reduce the acid consumption and production cost. |
