| Abstract: |
| Hydrometallurgy of copper has been developed rapidly recently.It is feasible to treat Low grade copper oxide ore with high alkality gangues by the heap leaching technology using low concentration ammonia.Because the problem of ammonia volatilization has been solved perfectly,this technology retaining the advantages of heap leaching process has a greater advantage over agitation leaching of crude ore in economics and engineering.In the light of key project in the Ninth Five Year Plan,Exploitation of Low grade Copper Oxide Ore with High alkality Gangues in Xinjiang,the technology of heap leaching with low concentration ammonia solvent extraction electrowinning,especially the leaching technology,is introduced in this paper.Good leaching results have been obtained in small scale and 200kg level pilot tests. |
