| Based on analyzing the physical and chemical properties of red mud from Bayer process,the tests on preparation and solidification of red mud road base material were carried out The technology for formation of red mud road base was studied The testing results show that the road base of solidified red mud has high compressive strength and excellent properties The compressive strength of 5MPa can be achieved at the age of 28 days Red mud of over 80% can be utilized |
