| Application of GZYQ soft start device of liquid electrolytic rheostat to YK3200/2 motor of blast furnace fan in Handan Iron and Steel Co was introduced The strike of large start current of large motors to electric network and equipment was lightened. In aspects of technology,economy and reliability,a comprehensive assessment was taken on the voltage drop start of using reactors in series in stator circuit,and soft start of using liquid electrolytic rheostat The assessment results show that the start current of using liquid electrolytic rheostat can be controlled within 3 fold rated current of the motor In start,the resistance of the liquid electrolytic rheostat was lowered with increasing of motor load Therefore,smooth stepless start of the motor was realized |
