Abstract:
      The purified water can be obtained after acidic wastewater containing heavy metals is treated by lime base process. However, it is easy to lead heavy pipe filth due to higher pH and calcium ion content, which is a key problem with restricted reuse of the purified water. This paper expounds the techniques for treatement and reuse of the purified water and their application in industry. The recycle of the purified water, changes of Ca 2+ concentration in recycle, choice of stabilizing agents for water quality, dynamic simulation test and the effect of the stabilizing agents on treatment results were investigated. In certain lead and zinc smeltery as an example, the technological measures for stabilization of purified water quality have been taken and the purified water used since 1997. Until now, the flowrate of recycling purified water has been up to 800m3/h and the water reuse system has a good running state at all times. The recycle of the purified water as a renewal resource has remarkable benefits of economy and society.
