| Abstract: |
| The cathode copper with nodules is poor in processing performance.Such nodules cause serious influence on quality of cathode copper.This paper,combined with production practice,describes the formation of nodules on cathode copper and removal methods.Nodules on cathode copper are basically caused by uneven distribution of current density,improper amount of additives to electrolyte,overmuch suspended material in electrolyte,etc.In the light of nodule characteristics,specific reasons for the nodule formation can be analyzed and appropriate measures can be taken to prevent or eliminate nodules. |
