| Abstract: |
| A steam dryer system for concentrate was introduced into Guixi Smeltery in 1999.After the third-stage transformation was completed in 2002,the throughput of flash furnace was improved and the throughput of the dryer system was increased from 50 t/h to 70 t/h.For this reason,the failure and maintenance rates rose.In the light of practical production,the reasons of failures for the dryer system were analyzed.After a series of technological measures were adopted,the running state of the system was remarkably improved,the throughput of 70 t/h for the dryer was kept and the operating ratio of the system was increased from 88% to over 92%,thus obtaining a good economical benefit. |
