| Abstract: |
| Under the same size fed to a hydrocyclone,the desired overflow size distribution can be obtained by regulating the cut size.It is accepted now,according to theoretical and empirical formulas,that the input pressure and concentration for a given hydrocyclone are the most important factors that effect the cut size,which means that the desired cut size can be gotten through regulating the pressure and concentration.In view of the above,a strategy of controlling the cut size by regulating the concentration from the pressure is proposed.The feasibility of this strategy is verified both in simulation and fieldwork. |
