Abstract:
Correct judgment and prediction of the safety mining depth effects the scope of the surface to be protected and the stability of spaces underground, and also depends whether the ore bodies over stoped-out areas can be mined safely. In this paper, the data and experience from both coal mining and tin mining of YTC in China are used to calculate and predicate the safety mining depth with non-full and non-fullest rockmass displacement, and some views on tackle of special problems on mining safety are presented.
