| Abstract: |
| Cell level control is a key way to make flotation performance better.Because flotation cells are cascaded,interaction between the cells cannot be ignored,which cause some difficulties for the level control.Some multivariable control methods have been provided to solve this problem and can give good simulation results.But,these methods are inconvenient to be put in practice because of their complexity.Through simulations we find that if the parameters are adjusted appropriately decentralized PI controllers can also achieve satisfactory performance and they are more practicable than multivariable control methods.The aim of this paper is to offer a way to design decentralized PI controllers for level control of cascaded flotation cells. |
