| Abstract: |
| In application of newly prepared nano-sized zinc oxide,it is directly added into organic compound mostly,which is difficult comparatively.So,it is indispensable that surface modification of nano-sized zinc oxide is done.The tests on surface modification of self-made nano-sized zinc oxide were carried out with titanate as coupling agent.Results indicate that the use level of coupling agent is the most important factor to influence the modification and its dosage is well over that needed for common powder.By means of IR and TEM,unmodified and modified nano-sized zinc oxides are investigated and the optimal modifying conditions are the agent dosage of 40% and modifying time of about 30min. |
