| Abstract: |
| Bauxite from Shanxi contains abundant rare and rare-earth elements except aluminum.The run-of-mine,red mud and circulating mother liquid are investigated,by use of such methods as chemical analysis,microscope,SME,heavy mineral,high-intensity magnetic separation and chemical leaching.It is concluded that these elements occur dispersively in diaspore and kaolinite,can't be both enriched by mineral dressing methods and extracted by hydrometallurgical process.REE,Sc,Nb and Ti are mainly in red mud and Ga,Li,Rb and V in circulating mother liquid.The comprehensive utilization of these elements must be combined with utilization of aluminum. |
