| Abstract: |
| Xiacun silver-polymetallic ore features large reserve,abundant and high-grade valuable elements.However,the metallurgical performance produced in previous mineral processing experiments is unsatisfactory as the complexity of mineral intergrowth and lack of process mineralogical data.For new mineral processing experiments,the investigation into process mineralogy of the run-of-mine ore and mineral processing products is carried out.The occurrence and distribution of primary valuable elements in this ore have been revealed.The particle sizes of the minerals and their liberations at different grinding finenesses have been determined.The behaviors of various minerals and mineralogical factors affecting the flotation have been explained clearly.The investigation results not only are favorable to reasonable selection of flotation parameters,thus getting high recoveries of metals,but also can be used as primary mineralogical data for further developing this ore. |
