| Abstract: |
| In unclassified tailing backfilling, there is always a mud layer with a certain thickness on the surface of filling body, disturbing productive operations. Author try to use a self-made flocculent for tackle of this problem. The results of experiment show that the flocculent can accelerate the settlement of fine particles, so restraining the mud layer effectively. At flocculent addition of 0.005%, the settling speed of fines can be doubled, and the settling time is less than one third of that without the flocculent. The filling tests in Wangershan Gold Mine prove that this technique is viable and very low in cost. |
