| Abstract: |
| On the basis of analyzing the demands of cement mill for the properties of grind materials,it is proposed that low chromium cast iron is used to manufacture the balls of cement mill.The low chromium cast iron not only contains suitable amounts of carbon,silicon and manganese,but also contains a small quantity of chromium and trace boron,rare earth and alkaline earth.The commercial test shows that abrasion resistance of the balls is 5 times higher than that of forging steel balls,and the economic benefits are by far higher than that of forging steel balls and high chromium cast iron balls. |
