| Abstract: |
| In this study,a series of bactericidal test on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were carried out with nano-ZnO suspension and polyurethane board appending nano-ZnO powder. The results indicate that the nano-ZnO has obvious bactericidal effects; the bactericidal rate raise gradually with prolong of the time or as enhancement of suspension concentration or increase of ZnO powder in the board;the bactericidal effect on Staphylococcus aureus is better than Escherichia coli;and the bactericidal effect of nano-ZnO suspension is better than that of the board appending nano-ZnO powder.In addition,a primary explanation about its bactericidal mechanism was given. |
