| Abstract: |
| For production of alumina by alkaline process,silicon in bauxite is the most harmful impurity.In this paper,different methods for bauxite desilication are systematically commented upon.The emphasis is laid on the principle of bauxite desilication by flotation process,and present situation and progression of its research.The positive flotation desilication has been put into industrial service.The reverse flotation is a perspective way for bauxite desilication but it is confronted with some difficulties,which needs to be studied systematically and further. |
