Abstract:
In this paper, the numerical model of three-dimension temperature field of the cooling pipe was built by describing the mechanism of heat exchange and calculating the convection exchange heat coefficient according to the work condition of the cooling pipe in liquid zinc.By using finite element analysis, the distribution of temperature was quantitatively determined and the influence discipline of the factors, such as the fluid velocity of the cooling water and the width of the cooling pipe, was qualitatively analyzed. The results show that the temperatures of cooling pipe change greatly along radial direction and decrease along a line from heat surface to cold surface, while the temperatures of perimeter direction change little. The results also show that the temperatures at the joint of straight part with curve section change greatly, and that the temperatures of the cooling pipe decrease accompanying the increase of the velocity of water flow in a certain scope. It is suggested that the affecting of the width of cooling pipe towards the distribution of temperatures is complex and that there is an optimum width in a certain condition.
