| Abstract: |
| Being an important functional inorganic filling material,the nanometer calcium carbonate powder has a widely application in the industry fields of new materials,medicine,rubber,plastics,painting and papermaking.It is of importance that preparing method of the nanometer calcium carbonate was researched.In this paper,the nanometer calcium carbonate powder with surface modification which has less size(30nm)and uniform distribution was prepared by using reactant as dissoluble calcium salt and carbonate,modifying reagent as polyvinyl alcohol in a max solvent consisting of anhydrous alcohol and de-ionized water,and the reuniting of calcium carbonate particles is least when content of modifying reagent is 10%.The substance phase,surface structure,morphologies,size distribution and thermal expansion property were characterized by means of modern analyzing and testing technology.Experimental result testified that the polyvinyl alcohol has a well function of surface modification. |
